So what is the role?

You’ll be responsible for supporting the Product Development Team to create and deliver its best practice through creation, roll out and support of processes and procedures within the team. This will include (amongst others):

  • Managing and implementing the team communications plan including team meetings, team building events and internal and external communications
  • Managing the resource sheet and resource planning sessions
  • Support the audit of all projects in the Product Development portfolio of projects, communicate any anomalies and drive their resolution
  • Maintain, improve and drive adherence of the new starters introduction pack and manage and support the contractor management processes
  • Support, maintain and improve the departmental Hardware, software and training budget tracking systems, asset-tracking systems, and document management systems
  • Support and promote the internal communications platforms
  • Support of the Product Development Methodology and best practice, including the minimum document set trackers and other processes as required
  • Creation and maintenance of the Product Development team training logs and agreeing mandatory training with the management team and ensuring compliance
  • Support the management teams in creating a training matrix for the Product Development Team – identifying suitable training courses and team building events
  • Creation and support of administrative documents and process as required helping the Product Development team to function effectively

  • Highly organised, capable of multitasking and working on multiple, sometimes, competing tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills able to build relationships sufficient to get buy in from peers and stakeholders
  • Experience of managing and creating structured processes
  • Experience in successfully rolling out change
  • Proven track record in completing tasks to point of successfully adoption
  • Sufficient IT skills to document processes, create shared documents , create visual representations , create training manuals
  • Excellent communication skill capable of interpreting documentation and creating clear and concise documentation appropriate to the tasks outlined above 
  • High standard of written English appropriate for creation of documentation, manuals, instructions that may have a high technical engineering content.
